He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Sommerfeld and Anita Sommerfeld; and his brother Timothy Sommerfeld. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Sommerfeld (Mary), Allen Sommerfeld (Mary) and Kathy Gedler (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
