She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Spitzack and Bertha Spitzack (Bauer); her husband William H. Sammon; and her brother Lyle Spitzack. She is survived by: her children, Jane Sammon of Waseca, Suzanne Knapper of Faribault, Kevin Sammon of Faribault, Mark Sammon (Lori) of Faribault, Keith Sammon (Marlene) of Faribault and Dean Sammon (Susan) of Faribault; her sister Carolyn Hopman (Darrel) of Morristown; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Spitzack, Theresa Van Zuilen, Marion Pirkl, Genevieve Guimond (Homer), Jack and Ray Sammon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church.
