We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2020, at the age of 92, Marguerite Gates of Faribault, Minnesota, born in Milan, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Olson and Hattie Olson (Running); her husband Benton "Bud" L. Gates; and her siblings, John "Buddy" Jr. Olson (Grace), Lawrence Olson (Ina), Richard "Bobby" Olson, Lucille Anderson (Dennis) and Helen Commons (Sam).
She is survived by: her children, Jim, Jimmie (Cathy) of Eagan, MN and Michele Green (Wayne) of St. Augustine, FL; her grandchildren, Michael Gates (Adrienne Sherman) and Kristine Gates; her sister Florence Pritz of Colorado Springs, CO; and her sister-in-law Norma Olson of Sunburg, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
