With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Smits of Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on June 30, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerardus and Wilhelmina Loeffen (Brouer); her husband Anthony J. Smits; and her son-in-law Ray Bice. She is survived by: her children, John Smits (Deb) of Faribault, Wilhelmina Bice of Faribault, Gerry Smits (Janet) of Faribault, Caroline Tatge (Dale) of Faribault, Netta Wegner (Pete) of Faribault and Henry Smits of Faribault. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; by four sisters, a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
