Maertens of Faribault, Minnesota, born in Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Joe Maertens; his brother-in-law Norman Johnson; and his parent Marie Maertens (Savoie). He is survived by: his daughter Laurie LaLiberte; his grandchildren, Scott (Brittney), Katie and Eric; his daughter Shari Kowalke (Chuck); his grandchildren, Drew (Lexi) and Abbie (Tanner); his great grandchild Mac Kowalke of Maple Grove, MN; his siblings, Julie Kack (Myron) of Minneota, MN, Susan Wischer (Ronald) of Minneota, MN, Mary Johnson of Marshall, MN and Steve Maertens (Monica) of Texas; his sister-in-law Kathy Maertens of Spicer, MN; and his wife Carolyn Bicek. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Lonsdale Volunteer Fire Department.
