He is survived by: his wife Marion Sammon of Faribault; his children, Tabitha Akers, Jon Akers of Rosemount, MN and Adam Sammon (Dawn) of Brooklyn Park, MN; and his siblings, Becky Sammon of Faribault and Peter Sammon of Apple Valley, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
