We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2021, at the age of 79, Reinhold Helmut Schmidt of Faribault, Minnesota, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Schmidt and Annamarie Schmidt (Stavenhagen); and his siblings, Rudolph, Helene "Dolly" Mack-Groh and Lydia Meredith.
He is survived by: his children, David Schmidt, Christine Pape (Schmidt) and Derek Schmidt; his grandchildren, Anna, Benjamin, Katarina, Julianna and Jacob; his niece Deanna Brightwell (Mack); and his nephew Art Mack.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider a tribute in Reiny's name to FWC: Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission or the Minnesota DNR.
