He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Brossard and Alice Brossard (Carpenter); his wife Harriet Holzapfel; his siblings, Mabel Christianson, Barbara Gerdes and LeRoy Brossard; his son-in-law Carl White; and his great great grandchild Violet Hilley.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Smith (Warren), Peggy Jorgenson (Dennis), Dianne White and Tom Brossard; his grandchildren, Melanie Sanchez (Jeremy Wacek), Rebecca Bailey, Elizabeth Wachter (Terry), Tanya Scherf (Nate), Shane Jorgenson, Carl White, Richard White (Haide), Valerie Capra (Mario) and Chrystal Gasner; and his sister LaDonna Von Bargen (Floyd). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.
