With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Moravec of Faribault, Minnesota, born in Montgomery, Minnesota, who passed away on August 1, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Moravec and Sylvia Moravec (Krocak); his daughter Jan Hunt; his grandson Nicholas Moravec; and his sisters, Irene Shimota and Inez Horejsi.
He is survived by: his wife Veta Drinken; his children, Judi Moravec (John Oswald) of Breezy Point, MN, Julia Andersen (Lonny) of Owatonna and Joe Moravec of Faribault; his son-in-law Tim Hunt of Kilkenny; his grandchildren, Justin Hunt (Maggie), Ashley Tonjum (Chris), Lynn Parker (Joel Chambers), Leslie Mayhew (Mike), Nichole Moravec and Jason Ianfolla (Janelle); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hunt, Lauren Hunt, Liam Mayhew, Jameson Tonjum, Isla Mayhew, Maren Tonjum, Jaclyn Ianfolla and Tony Ianfolla; and his sister Darlene Buss (Gary) of West Minster, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
