It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hammer of Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolf W. Hammer and Verona Hammer (Bakken); his daughters, Beth (Rick Wion) and Carol Bauer; and his granddaughter Heather Schoonover.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Gregory Schoonover of Sontag, MS, Mark Beutnagel (Ginny) of Medham, NJ, Rick Fergesen (Nancy) of Edina, MN and Barbara Carstens (Roger) of Oregon City, OR; and his siblings, Geri Larson of Faribault, Larry Hammer (Toni) of Faribault and David Hammer of St. Paul. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
