He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Thomas and Annie Thomas (Steimetz); his wife Betty Lou; his son Michael; his grandson Nick; his son-in-law Tony Lagnada; and his siblings, Sylvester Thomas, Elmer Thomas, Elvina Kotek and Genevieve Marsh (Don).
He is survived by: his children, Linda Lagnada of Owatonna, Patricia Matson (Randall) of Northfield, Danny Thomas of Faribault, Julie Bishop (Chuck) of Faribault, Debi Said (Effat) of Eagan, Larry Thomas (Jeanie) of Faribault and William "Billy" Thomas of Faribault; his grandchildren, Tony Rice (Shannon), Shannon Lagnada, Jason Dunn (Leeann), Caleb Thomas, Chelsea Radi (Tyler), Adam Thomas (Rissa), Cortney Bishop Swedin (Travis), Colleen Thomas, Matthew Gantt and Michael Gantt (Tricia); his great grandchildren, Michael, Joey, Devin, Peyton, Natalie, Dominic, Mason, Hazel Mae, Hayden, Kaylin, Amelia, Nadiya, Nevaeh, Makai and Aubry; his siblings, Dorothy Carpenter of Waseca, Ambrose Thomas (Diane) of Faribault and Alvin Thomas of Hastings; and his close friend Betty Davis of Morristown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
