He was predeceased by : his brother Bob Lehmeyer; his parents-in-law, Geno Ervasti and Cheri Ervasti; his stepfather Gary Mattson; and his grandparents, Charles, Marlys Gligor and Mabel Lehmeyer.

He is survived by : his parents, Lynne Mattson and Gary Lehmeyer; his children, Kailee and Colin; his wife Jaime; his stepmother Sharon Lehmeyer; his sister Nicole Rozeske (Tony); his sister-in-law Jenny Schwamb; his nieces and nephews, Sydney and Kyler Schwamb; and his brother-in-law Jason Schwamb. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In remembrance of Steve's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Colon Cancer Coalition.
