She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Schendel and Lillian Schendel (Kemis); her son Craig Vandenberg; her grandsons, Mark Vandenberg and Matthew Vandenberg; and her siblings, Gwen Vaillancourt, Dorothy Schendel, Clifford Schendel, Gordon Schendel, Howard Schendel, Robert Schendel, Richard Schendel and Roger Schendel.
She is survived by: her husband Joel Vandenberg; her children, Jeff Vandenberg and Debra Mather (Mitch); her grandchildren, Aiden Vandenberg, Christopher Mather and Shawn Mather; and her sisters, Marie Larsen (Bob) and Mona Ketzeback (Frank). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
