With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rocky D. Gosse of Fort Ripley, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 74. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rocky may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gosse and Aldene Gosse (Scheerle); his former wife Louise Ohnstad; and his sister Bernice Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Dean Gosse (Cheryl) of Fort Ripley, Gloria Lee Hoheisel Gosse of Fort Ripley and Michelle Lynette Gosse of St. Cloud, MN; and his brothers, Herbert Gosse (Cindy) of Staples, MN and Richard Gosse of Manchester, TN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
