She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Dora Smith (Demarais); her grandmother Ella Smith (Berthiaume); her son Daniel Olson; her siblings, Ed Smith (Pat), Dorothy Ostrom, Al Peterson (Ron) and Kenneth Smith; and her son-in-law David Sundberg.
She is survived by: her aunt Irene Smith; her husband Robert Louis Olson (Bob); her children, Dennis Olson (Sue), Douglas Olson (Jane), Denise Naustdal (Bruce), Darwin Olson (Judy), Darla Sundberg and Dean Olson (Deb); her grandchildren, Karin Larsen (Jeff), Joshua Olson (Amanda), Diana Olson, Allana Olson, Luke Liepke (Kelli), Matthew Liepke (Lindy), Missy Boyd (Brandon), Jeff Naustdal (Sheila), Emily Prichard (Adam), Aaron Olson, David Sundberg II, Samantha Olson, Miranda Olson and Orianna Olson; her great grandchildren, Phoenix Olson, Miles Liepke, Mya Liepke, Kyla Liepke, Nora Liepke, Claire Naustdal, Eason Sundberg, Finn Sundberg, Tessa Prichard, Tanner Prichard and Graham Prichard; her sister Donna Peterson; and her brother-in-law Don Ostrom. She is also survived by friends and wonderful neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo (2739 Stinson Blvd NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
