With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Selma Begordis in Fort Snelling, Minnesota, born in Greenbush, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hauser (Robert Cyril Begordis SR) and Helen Hauser (Dagenais); her son William Spafford; her siblings, Curt Hauser and Margie Lamphier; her stepchildren, Pamela Begordis, Lorna Larson, Keith Begordis, Dave Begordis and Brian Begordis; and her grandchildren, Kristel Backman, Benjamin Bondley, Sarah Bondley and Joshua Shepard.
She is survived by: her aunt Clarice Dagenais; her sister Diane Northrup; her brother-in-law Cliff Northrup; her nieces and nephews, Marilyn Colsch, Debbra Nelson and Vicki Houston; her friend Louis; and her granddaughter Megan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren great-great grandchildren and wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota (7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
