It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon Stroeing (Freeport, Minnesota), born in Saint Martin, Minnesota, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Stroeing; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Rosen, Evelyn Voller, Dorothy Stroeing, Wilfred Stroeing, Celestine Stroeing, Sylvester Stroeing and Marvin Stroeing.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie of Freeport; his children, Cindy Schneider (Don) of Meire Grove, Deb Marn (Gary) of Luxemburg, Darlene Leyendecker (Mike), Randy Stroeing of New Munich, Doris Lieser (Steve) and Jeff Stroeing (Lisa); and his sister Rita Stang (Fred) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
