He was predeceased by: his parents, William Olmschenk and Dora Olmschenk (Katterhagen); and his siblings, Leo, Marie, Doris and Irene.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Price); his children, Tammy Sydness (Scott), Tracy Axen (Michael) and Todd Olmschenk; his grandchildren, Patrick Sydness (Aleshia), Craig Fendzlau (Josh), Miranda Axen, Kayla Olmschenk, Lauren Olmschenk and Sarah Olmschenk; his great grandchildren, Mason, Kennedy, Linken, Mackenzie, Madalyn and Londyn; and his siblings, Kevin, Leroy, Kathy, Betty, Norma and Sandy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
