He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigurd Opstad and Lucille Opstad. He is survived by: his wife Adria; his children, Angela Opstad and Steve Opstad (Jodie); his grandchildren, Olivia, Aiden and Adria; and his sisters, Marilyn Nail (Henry), Nancy Madson (Ronald), Cheryl Peterson (Randy) and Cindy Persons (Mike).

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
