She was predeceased by : her son Daniel Nygren; her grandson Tyler Nygren; her parents, Emil Fischer and Mary Fischer; and her brothers, Jim Fischer and Gary Fischer.

She is survived by : her husband Gene Freyholtz; her siblings, Irene Udovich (Dennis) of Greaney, John Fischer (Kay) of Forest Lake, Bob Fischer (Diane) of Zimmerman and Mark Fischer (Wendy) of Forest Lake; and her stepdaughters, Darla Ballard (Roy) and Shawna Rosenlund (Justin). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; as well many nieces and nephews.
