He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Kokesch; his son Galen Kokesch; his brother Jim Kokesch; and his parents, Arthur Kokesch and Veronica Kokesch (Grossam).
He is survived by: his children, Diane Sowers of New Ulm, Darlene Bergman (Dennis) of Huron, Joyce Magoon (Mark) of Orlando, Florida, Dale Kokesch of Jefferson, Dennis Kokesch (Pam) of Winthrop and Daryl Kokesch of Gibbon; and his siblings, Ann Kral, Robert Kokesch and Harold Kokesch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
