He was predeceased by: his mother Elaine Schumer (Sanoski). He is survived by: his father Joseph Schumer of Upsala; his wife Annette Gapinski; his children, Michael, Christopher, David and Alicia of Gilman; and his siblings, Pat (Lynn), Marvin (Gayle), Tim (Anita), Steve (Laurie), Shelly Schumer, Rob, Sherry Schumer and Little Falls.
