She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Arndt and Lillian Arndt; her sister Elaine; her brothers-in-law, Albert Rooker and Henry Cook; her brothers, Bill Arndt, Allan (Jenny Arndt), Max (Dorothy Arndt), Jack (Dottie Arndt), Murray Arndt, Clyde Arndt and Jerry Arndt; her siblings-in-law, Walter, Evelyn Whitney, Wayne, Helen Whitney, William Jr. and Betty Whitney; and her grandson Bradley Virnig.
She is survived by : her husband James Whitney; her daughters, Karna Opeka (Bob) of Litchfield Park, AZ, Cathryn Virnig (Rod) of Golden Valley, MN and Kristin Lawatsch (Eric) of Neenah, WI.; her grandchildren, RJ Opeka (Deirdre), Natalie Opeka, Dan Virnig (Alyssa Runquist), Ryan Virnig (Sofia), Nate Virnig (Rosi), Jordyn Albrecht (Alex), Jared, Jenna and Brady Lawatsch; her great grandchildren, Emilia, Carter, Willa Opeka, Maya Virnig and Elena Virnig; her siblings, Connie Cook and Roger; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Whitney, Glenda Arndt and Nancy Arndt. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Blue Earth United Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
