She was predeceased by : her husband Alan Edward Segal; her father Israel Begam; her brothers-in-law, Sheldon Segal and David Hersk; and her niece Heather Reich Malmberg.

She is survived by : her mother Esther Begam; her children, Lenny Segal (Susie), Stacy Segal (Dave Hanson), Cindy Anderson (Tim) and DeeDee Long (Hap); her grandson Nathan Segal (Lisa); her sisters, Marilyn Reich (Larry) and Sharon Begam-Goldschmidt; her grandchildren, Jamie (Cody Weyer), Emily Hanson, Arin, Abigail Anderson, Elise, Lindsey, Harry Long, Andrew, Talia Segal and Isla Segal; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Segal and Nancy Hersk.
