He was predeceased by : his parents, Volney Davis and Theckla Davis (Stier); his wife Shirley Evenson; his daughter Kim; and his brothers, Verne, Stan, Don and Ray.

He is survived by : his former life partner MaryAnn Heimer; his children, Jay Davis (Sandra Heiland), Dawn Durst (Steve), Lisa Hodge (Brian) and Wade Davis (Elizabeth Lin); his grandchildren, Nick Durst, Kim Durst, Jennifer Andersen, Brady Hodge (Katy) and Dani Hodge; his great grandchildren, Logan Andersen and Kaiza Hodge; his sister Teresa Nelson (Truman); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Davis (Stan) and Linda Davis (Ray). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
