She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Swensen and Anna Swensen; her husband Darrell Carsrud; and her sisters, Barbara Buckstead and Maryann Swensen.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Kush (Douglas) of Osceola, WI and Dean Carsrud (Lisa) of Grand Rapids, MN; her siblings, Carol Bak of Irene, SD, DeAnna Swensen of Coos Bay, OR and Terry Swensen of Lake Havasu, AZ; her grandchildren, Amber Kush (Tyler), Heather Broderick (Jordan), Justine Carsrud and Morgan Carsrud; and her great grandchildren, Kolbie Broderick, Carson Broderick, Freddie Freese and Clay Freese. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rowe Funeral Home (510 NW 1st Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Suomi Cemetery.
