It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrel Benson of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Talmoon, Minnesota, who passed away on February 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Benson and Bessie Benson; and his siblings, Irene Kossow, Lloyd Benson, Loreen Murphy, Irma Thompson and Loralee Baird.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Preston and Bill Benson; his wife Marion Leone Jenson; his children, Dale (Doreen Tachibana), LuAnn Linda (Vern Tabert) and Tim (Linda); and his grandchildren, Kirby, Aron, Andy Budrow, Jake and Josie Benson.
Regrettably, due to COVID there is no reception.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation or the charity of your choice.
