He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mutchler and Irene Mutchler (Wiekenhouser); his wife Barbara; and his siblings, Gordon Mutchler and Gloria Prebeck.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Sullivan of Bemidji, MN, Jeff (Cheryl) of Goodland, MN, Mark (Chris) of Blackberry, MN and Dean (Joelle) of Grand Rapids, MN; his nephew Neal Mutchler of Florida; his sister Greta Wilson of Grand Rapids, MN; and his grandchildren, Jake, Ben, Kayla, Kassie, Travis and Samantha. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
