It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Carlson of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ina Pihlaja (Niska) and Jack Pihlaja; and her husband Blaine. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy (Minneapolis); and her siblings, Shirley (Minnetonka) and Michael (Grand Rapids). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
