He is survived by: his significant other Irene Akre; his children, Terri Olson of Carlsbad, NM, Catherine Olson of Carlsbad, NM, Eric Olson of Grand Rapids, MN and Anton Olson of La Habra, CA; and his sister Doris Newman of Grand Rapids, MN. He is also survived by one grandchild; and five great-grandchildren.
