She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Owens and Ina Owens; her brother John Owens; her daughter Susan Kauppi; and her husband Herbert W. Kauppi, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, William Kauppi of Blackberry, MN, Barb Owens of St. Paul, MN., Karen Yost (Don) of New Braunfels, TX and Dawn Betzel (Colin) of Ashland City, TN.; and her grandchildren, Claire, Caitlin, Alex Yost, Meaghan Owens (Derek Broussard), Hailey Owens, Charlie Haglund, Kendra Kennedy (Brandon), Jamie Haglund and Zane Coulter. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
