He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thomas and Alma Thomas (Bendorf); his siblings, Arline Sepin, Mildred Bloyer, Ralph and Harvey Thomas; and his granddaughter Shannon Benedict.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Valorie Knudsen (Craig) of Brainerd, MN, Marilyn Emerson (Steve) of Little Falls, MN, Peggy Benedict (Philip) of Maple Grove, MN, Ronald Thomas (Danie) of Wellington, FL, Gerald Thomas (Colleen) and Elaine Sedgeman (Donald) of Fall Creek, WI; and his sister Gladys Batdorf. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
