With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Bakke of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Nielsville, Minnesota, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartvig Dahl and Olive Dahl (Smith); her husband James H. Bakke; and her brother Clyde Dahl. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Szamatula (Rick) of Duluth, MN; and her granddaughter Jamie Szamatula of Duluth, MN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Camp Hiawatha.
