He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Wendt and Christine Wendt (Johansen); his brother Myron Wendt; and his son-in-law Randy Motejeck. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; and his children, David Wendt, Cindy Motejeck, Jody Hilgert (Ken), Jill Brink (Bob), Kari Jensen (Doug) and Christian Wendt (Carol). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
