She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gielen and Esther Gielen; her husbands, Adolph Haverland (Bud) and Willis Black; her daughter Amy Haverland; and her brothers, LeRoy, Keith and Vernon Gielen.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Haverland, Mary Ann Haverland and Jeannie Linville; her grandchildren, Duane, Ginny Barsness, Alisha, Tierra Linville, Juan Carlos DeHerrera, Tyler, Brandon and Jacob Stolley; and her great grandchild Anastasia May Resendez.
