It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Whalen of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Whalen and Louise Whalen; his brothers, Raymond and Dennis; and his close friend Marjorie "Margie" Helmer.

He is survived by: his siblings, Timothy Whalen of Duluth, MN and Mary Swift (Ted) of Bridgeport, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
