He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Brandsted and Lucille Brandsted (Trego); his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Alberta Brophy; his brother Ron Brandsted; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Brophy, Glenda Smith and William Brophy.
He is survived by : his wife Kathy Brophy; his children, Jeremy Brandsted (Melissa) of Granite Falls, Mitchell Brandsted (Julie) of Millerville, Jason Brandsted of Montevideo and Kjersti Lindblom (John) of Maynard; his grandchildren, Dominic Brandsted, Tyler Brandsted, Raven Brandsted, Tristen Brandsted, Courtney Brunson (Stephen), Dylan Lindblom, Connor Lindblom, Justin Brandsted, Kyle Brandsted and Nathan Brandsted; his great grandchildren, Naomi, Adam and Jenny Brunson; his siblings, Fran Reinke-Ust (Frank) of Mayville and Ed Brandsted (Dianna) of Mayville; and his sister-in-law Jan Brandsted of Fargo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
