He was predeceased by : his parents, Olaf Oie and Petra Oie (Quall); his wife Miriam Melom; and his son Jesse Oie. He is survived by : his children, Miriam Baker (Arnold) of Independence, MO, Daniel (Cheryl) and Timothy (Susan); his grandchildren, Sarah Baker Kovacs, Nathaniel Baker, Elizabeth Oie Senne, Benjamin Oie, Alicia Oie LaCroix and Aaron Oie; his brother Arnold Oie; and also Bernice Lofthus. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
