We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2022, at the age of 99, Evelyn Niemela of Greenbush, Minnesota, born in Strathcona, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Nels Ornquist and Christine Ornquist; her husband Alvar Niemela; and her siblings, Emil, Adolph, Hildur Aaland, Nettie Lundquist Hoverud, Marie Mead, Lylvon Clark Larson, Nellie Anderson Larson and Ruby Anderson.
She is survived by : her daughter Susan Grindeland (Leigh); her grandsons, Steve and Sean; her great grandchildren, Logan and Skyler; and her sister-in-law Mildred Ness. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
