He was predeceased by : his parents, Irving Steuck and Sylvia Steuck (Nelson); his stepdaughter Joanna Smith; his nephews, Ryan Brockberg and Mark Mahlstedt; and his stepson-in-law Mark Ness.

He is survived by : his former life partner Rose Dietz; his wife Carol of Grygla, MN; his children, Kari Steuck of Annandale, MN, Sheri Hoopman (Brian DeSmet) of St. Cloud, MN and Terry Steuck (Angel) of Watkins, MN; his stepchildren, Angela Ness of Cold Spring, MN, Brian Smith (Jessika) of Devlin, Ontario and Nina Smith (Jeff Broadwell) of Fosston, MN; his grandchildren, Cortney, Trent, Christopher Hoopman, Hannah and Haley Steuck; his stepgrandchildren, Brittany Gomes (Josue), Chelsie Smith, Alexis Peterson (Chad), Anthony Smith, Kaci, Hannah, Nathan, Aaron Ness, Miles and Kenedi Broadwell; his great grandchildren, Paislee, Axle and McKenzie Peterson; and his sisters, Linda Mahlstedt (Virgil), Anita Johnson (Dennis), Kathy Brockberg (Dennis) and Patricia Nesvold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
