He was predeceased by: his son Travis Freeberg; his sister Janet Hallman; his brother-in-law George Hallman; his parents, Victor Freeberg and Norene Freeberg; his parents-in-law, Maurice and Alvina Krebsbach; and his sister-in-law Euvonne Krebsbach.
He is survived by: his son Troy Freeberg; his daughter-in-law Wendy Freeberg; his granddaughters, Brooke Dolby (Aaron), Paige Freeberg (Tylar Novy) and Lauren Freeberg (Chris Tienter); his daughter-in-law Cresta Kruger; his sisters, Iva Lou Burke (Chuck) and Rita Schoemaker (Daryl); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Krebsbach (Diane), Maureen Miller (Glenn), Barb Flynn (Jim) and Mary Jost (Byron). He is also survived by his dog, volunteering at the Salvation Army, deer hunting at his cabin up north, playing cards, bonfires at his lake cabin, traveling the world, and being a full-time grandpa by supporting, teaching, and cheering on his granddaughters.
