He was predeceased by : his parents-in-law, Fritz, Mary Guggisberg and Donald Weise; his sisters, Betty Minnick and Karen Koehler; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Guggisberg, Donald Guggisberg, Patricia Guggisberg and Mary Weirauch; his nephew Lonny Minnick; and his parents, George Sturm and Delores Sturm (Windhorn).
He is survived by : his wife Jean Sturm; his daughters, Melissa Ellanson (Blake) and Rachel Sturm (Jon Beck); his stepchildren, Kim Schwab (Terry Wendinger), Scott Schwab (Amber Rademaker) and Willy Schwab (Holly); his mother-in-law Doris Weise; his grandchildren, Kjerstin, Brandon, Riley, Bryce, Landon, Austin, Owen, Sullivan, Kenlee and Kya; his great grandchild Autumn; his siblings, Gwen Melchert (John), Bonnie Marquardt (Gary) and Donald Sturm (Anita); and his siblings-in-law, Judi Larson, Margi Rewitzer (Jim), Ron Guggisberg, Larry Guggisberg (Kris), Daniel Guggisberg (Barb), Steve Weise (Angela) and Tim Weise (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation.
