She was predeceased by: her parents, George Illa and Emma Illa (Brunner); and her sister Marion Ohns. She is survived by: her husband Duane Sorensen; and her children, Richard of Andover, Diane Schaffer (Don) of Ankeny and Scott (Cindy) of Eagan. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
