We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025, at the age of 91, Dorothy Ruth Rieken of Hastings, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Casimer and Margaret Gladys "Marge" O'Toole (Vandermeade); her husband Oscar Rieken; her sisters-in-law, Veta Wichman (Victor), Lura Stockinger (Jack) and Louise Rieken; and her aunts, Orpha Hazel Vandermade Zimmer (Dale) and Margaret Mary O'Toole.
She is survived by: her friends, Lois, Loren Soice, Dorothy and Oscar; her sons, Jim Rieken (Jim) of Prescott, WI, Dan Rieken (Lisa Bruer) of Fredericksburg, VA and Tom Rieken (Dena) of Prescott, WI; and her grandchildren, Calista, Collin Rieken of Fredericksburg, VA, Dylan Rieken of Lakeville, MN, Ashley Rieken of Prescott, WI and Noah Rieken of River Falls, WI. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1048 Campbell Street North, Prescott, WI 54021.
