She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Berg and Olivene Berg (Baillargeon); her husband Richard Jahnke; her grandson Kyle Hamilton; and her siblings, Laurice, Marlene, Gloria and Abraham.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Jahnke (Brian Richards), Barb Hamilton, Cindy Dodge (George), Mark Jahnke (Diane) and Bernie Jahnke (Eileen); her brothers, Elroy Berg and Gilbert Berg (Jan); and her sister-in-law Lois Berg. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Regina Foundation in memory of Joan.
