He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Swoboda; his parents, Esther Vretstrom and Claus Vretstrom; his siblings, Thomas Vretstrom, Doris Berger (Vernon), Betty Rogalla (Milton) and Joanne Fercello (Gerald); his siblings' children, Thomas Fercello and Nancy Laddusire; and his sister-in-law Jane Sterba-Swoboda.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Scott Peterson, Aaron Peterson (Tracy), Jenny Peterson, Megen Dow (Mike), Nicole Quintanilla (Carlos), Jackie Jenson (Don) and Susan Berger; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Sterba and Judy Peterson (Don). He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and by many other relatives, and friends.
