With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Dorene Mae Ward of Hector, Minnesota, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Tony Engst and Helen Engst (Johnson); her husband Arvid Ward; her daughter Teri Chermak; her grandsons, Tyler Chermak and Tristan Maresch; and her brother Ron Engst.

She is survived by : her daughters, Toni Babatz (Brian) of Jordan, MN and Tami Henning (David) of Alexandria, MN; her grandchildren, Patrick Maresch (Connie), Nathaniel Maresch (Teddy), Cassie Kiecker (Trevor), Matthew Henning (Jody), Christine Henning (Matt Hodgman) and Amy Jo Hopkins (Seth); her son-in-law Ed Chermak of Hector, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Ward of Clarissa, MN, Donna Ward of Clarissa, MN and Ellie Engst of Park Rapids, MN. She is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
