With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernardine Hecker of Heron Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on October 20, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Leo Bentler and Anne Bentler (Krause); her husband Kermit Hecker; her children, Lee Bornhoft (Steve) of Heron Lake and Scott Hecker of Heron Lake; her grandchildren, Tony Bornhoft (Marie) of Windom and Ginny Caldwell (Jake) of Windom; her pet Weezie; and her brothers, Leo and Lloyd. She was also cherished by 4 great grandchildren, her best friend and companion.
