He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Liepold and Rose Liepold (Freking); his sister Janice Bezdicek; and his grandson Matthew Reif. He is survived by : his wife Nell Liepold of Heron Lake, MN; his children, Loren Liepold (Lynn) of Roseville, MN, Larry Liepold (Jill) of Okabena, MN, John Liepold (Jill) of Elko, LeAnn Bieber (Curt) of Byron, MN, Lynn Buth (Michael) of Danbury, IA, LaVonne Reif (Gary) of Jackson, MN and Lois Liepold of Savage, MN.; his grandchildren, Mark Liepold (Patricia), Bonnie Friese (Brandon), Chris Liepold (Tay Nelson), Joe Liepold, Erin Rako (Cory), Austin Liepold, Kristin Liepold, Jake Bieber, Melissa Bieber, Nick Buth, Justin Buth, Ashley Buth, Logan Buth, Tyler (Sharalynn Christenson), Tawadpong "Gift" Methaveranon, Haydee Barrera Ramirez (Richard), Juan Barrera, Geovonny Barrera and Carolina Lopes; his great grandchildren, Rozie Christenson, Graham Friese and Emmett Watkins; and his brother Marvin Liepold (Anne) of Heron Lake, MN. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family withes for memorials to Sacred Heart Foundation or Lakeview Nursing Home.
