With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn J. Myers Ellis (Hinckley, Minnesota), who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Knutson and Ruth Knutson (Paulson); her former husband Gordon Myers; her siblings, Robert, Orrin, Arlene and Allen; and her daughter-in-law April Myers.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Ellis of St. Cloud, MN; her children, Scott Myers (Blair Schrader) of St. Cloud, MN, Dewain Myers (Cindy) of Gillette, WY and Ruthie Myers-Schleif (Mike) of Sauk Rapids; her stepchildren, Jeff Gerow-Ellis (Michelle) of Willmar, MN and Cheryl Thurm of Platteville, WI; and her siblings, Dennis Knutson and Yvonne Kinneberg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (301 Lawler Ave S, Hinckley, MN 55037). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
